Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, Artistic Mobility: travel grants of UAH 130,000 to 280,000 for artists and cultural professionals for training, internships and residencies in Ukraine and the EU, apply by 28 December
The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, under the Cultural Horizons programme co-funded by the European Union, has announced the Artistic Mobility grant call (LOT 4). The programme is designed to support the professional travel and cross-border engagement of Ukrainian artists and cultural workers.
Grants range from UAH 130,000 to UAH 280,000 (approximately EUR 2,500 to EUR 5,500) per project, with an overall call allocation of UAH 10,509,400 (EUR 220,000). The deadline for submitting applications is 28 December 2026.
What is funded
The call finances individual professional mobility aimed at gaining new knowledge, practical skills, conducting research, and fostering professional cooperation. Supported activities include training, internships, residencies, research and educational programmes, professional exchanges, and participation in sector-specific events.
Eligible initiatives cover a wide range of cultural and creative domains. These include visual arts, audial arts, audiovisual arts, cultural heritage, literature, performing and stage arts, as well as cross-sectoral creative industry initiatives. Mobility can be carried out either entirely in person or through a hybrid format.
Who can apply
Applications are open to individual Ukrainian artists and cultural sector professionals. The proposed travel and activities must directly correlate with the applicant’s existing professional work within the cultural and creative industries.
Eligible candidates should aim to reinforce their professional capacities, expand partnerships, and represent Ukrainian cultural practices internationally. The donor focuses on practitioners who seek integration into the broader European cultural area.
Geographic scope and priorities
Travel can be planned within Ukraine (excluding temporarily occupied territories), to European Union member states, or as a combined itinerary covering locations both within Ukraine and in the EU. The primary project deliverable is the completed professional mobility and the attainment of defined professional outcomes.
Activities should align with key European Union priorities, such as digital transformation, sustainable development and environmental responsibility, and social inclusion and gender equality. Projects are also expected to facilitate intersectoral, interdisciplinary, and interregional partnerships.
How to apply
Applications must be prepared and submitted online via the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation personal cabinet system. Candidates need to register on the platform, fill in the standard application forms, and define the specific goals and schedule of their mobility project.
Practical tip. Align your mobility objectives with at least one EU horizontal priority, such as green sustainability or digital adoption, directly in your proposal. Make sure that your requested budget strictly falls between UAH 130,000 and UAH 280,000, as amounts below or above these limits cannot be accepted.
Applications are submitted on the donor’s page: ucf.in.ua.
